Images Photography - BIPP Wedding Photographers of the Year 2010
Images Photography are celebrating, after yet another year of success at the British Institute of Photographers' Western Region Awards.
This includes the prestigious "Wedding Photographer of the year" award, which was won by Images Photographer Phil Bunt.
Meanwhile, Carolyn Oakley walked away with an Award of Excellence in the Pets category for her studio photograph of a litter of great dane puppies, and Matthew Bunt won an Award of Excellence in the Photojournalism category.
This now also means that between them, Phil and Carolyn have won four top prize trophies in the last three years: Photojournalism photographer of the year, Portrait photographer of the year, Advertising Photographer of the year and now the coveted Wedding Photographer of the year.
This is amongst dozens of Awards of Excellence for other works as well.
The awards, held in Exeter cover the whole of the West from Wiltshire downwards and also the whole of Wales featured over 350 entries from BIPP Photographers all over the region.
Phil was over the moon with the awards. "We are delighted to have been awarded such high honours again this year, for something that we really have a passion for.
"As with all BIPP events, the standard was very high and we feel honoured to be recognised by our peers in this way.
"In particular, being named the West and Cornwall's premier Wedding Photographer is something I wasn't expecting, but am glad that all the hard work we all put in has been appreciated and paid off."
