Frequently asked questions
We understand that sometimes there can be a lot to take in - so below we have
listed a number of "frequently asked questions" to help out. Of course, if you
have any other queries we
would love you to get in contact.
How do you guarantee the quality of the prints?
We use the latest in digital and optical technology, as well as years of experience to make sure every single print you take home is the best possible quality. We use a professional photographic lab to produce the prints themselves, using Kodak materials. We also quality assure every single print prior to you taking it home - but of course, should the unlikely event occur where you're not happy with your prints, we fully guarantee every one - so just let us know.
Are the studio and showroom disabled friendly?
Both the studio and showroom are accessible to disabled clients. The is however one small ledge below the door to the studio itself, but in experience this has never caused an issue. For more information, please contact us.
Is there parking available?
Unfortunately, due to our town-centre location we are unable to provide parking for visitors to our showroom or studio. However, Crantock Street does have a number of short-stay parking spaces (up to 1 hour during the Summer), and there is also a large car park just around the corner on St. George's Road. We are also within walking distance (2 minutes) from Newquay Bus Station. Please see the map of our location here.
Do I have to come back into the showroom to view my photos?
We invite everyone back to the showroom, so they can view the photos on our large, high definition screen. Of course, you don't have to come back in and you can just view them online. However we do recommend coming back in to see the photos in all their glory - it can be a special experience with the family.
How long does it take to process my order?
It usually takes between 10-14 working days for us to process and complete your order. However, most the time this can be significantly shorter, depending on the items ordered.
If the order is time-sensitive (ie. A birthday present or similar), then please chat to us and we will do our very best to complete it in time.
And if I come back, do I have to order there and then?
No, not at all! We invite you back to view your images so you can see them in full-resolution, and give you some great ideas on how you could put together your package, and interesting ideas on how to display your photos. You are not expected to order there and then, and you are more than welcome to go home to think over those decisions in your own time.
How long do you keep hold of my photos for?
Simple answer to that - FOREVER. Unlike some photography studios, we will never delete your photos, and keep them on our servers and online forever. So, if you came back in 5 years time to order another photo - it'll still be there! We also have a full multiple-site backup regime, ensuring that your special images are completely safe in the event of data loss or hardware failure.
I'm a Photographer - can I hire out your facilities?
We are afraid that we do not offer out our facilities for hire at this time.
Are my images kept private?
As per our standard Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, we do not share your information or images with anyone. We will only use your details and images to complete your order with our trusted affiliate companies. From time to time we may ask for permission to use an image from your session for our own marketing purposes, but of course we will contact you for permission beforehand.
Do I have to make an appointment to come in and chat about packages and ideas?
As our showroom is open Monday - Friday 10 - 4, and Saturday 10 - 2, you are more than welcome to pop in anytime to have a chat. However, as we are very busy if you are in the position to make an appointment then we can ensure that we can put the time aside to give you a proper tour of our facilities, and spend a lot more time chatting through ideas.
Do I have to make a booking for a studio session?
We are a very busy Photography Studio, therefore booking for a session is essential.
Do you offer your packages as gifts?
Many of our packages can be offered as a presentational gift-wrapped item - perfect if you are purchasing for someone else as a present. Please ask for details.
Do you offer your studio session photos as digital files?
We are afraid that at the moment we are not able to provide any of our images as a digital copy. This is purely down to the fact that as photographers, we prefer to have control of what we produce.
We are very proud of our quality and feel of our prints, and unfortunately in the past we have had people printing their own copies (either at home or at a photo kiosk) of our images which are sub-standard. This then has inadvertantly negatively reflected the quality of our work.
However, if you were after a smaller digital copy for use on Social networking sites or to email to friends and family, then we would be happy to oblige.
