Carolyn Says...

I loved it here with Tiffany and Carl after their wedding at Bodmin Registry office. Woods Cafe must be one of the most picturesque in Cornwall, set amid the thickly forested slopes of Cardinham Woods only two miles from Bodmin. Tiffany had spent a year collecting all the special items for the tables at the wedding breakfast there which made a special location for a discreet celebration with family and friends. Sadly, just two months after I had photographed the café was devastated by floods and was not reopened until March 2011 after extensive refurbishment and this makes me more determined than ever to sing it's praises as a place to consider if you are planning your special day. Everyone there was helpful and very friendly and they deserve every success in rebuilding the business – particularly for wedding parties. In fact they say every cloud has a silver lining and this flooding has at least meant that work being planned will not only reduce the risk of recurrence but improvements to the outside area will also enhance the Woods as a wedding venue with a specially commissioned yurt being planned for ceremonies.
