Set in the grounds of the famous National Trust Lanhydrock House, this stunningly beautiful little parish church of St Hydroc is a place of prayer and tranquility alongside the well manicured lawns, borders and walks of the magnificent great house, parts of which date back to the 1620s. There is plenty of room for large group photos in the gardens with some lovely backdrops and also more intimate spots for the bride and groom to be photographed together. The Trust staff are helpful and accommodating but be aware that the church has a rule of no photography during the service although they are more than happy to allow shots on the way in and out as well as the signing of the register of course. They also allowed me to photograph the exchange of rings from a realtively close position when I took the wedding images for Becky and Mark which was a nice touch..
