The church of St Bartholomew was built in the Norman style in 1842 and is situated within easy walking distance of the picturesque harbour in this popular south coast fishing village near Helston - the home of the Cornish Flora (also known as Floral or Furry) Dance. It is a church with character and a real sense of occasion which is added to by its plain arches, semi-circular altar area and feature pipe organ.
