If you want somewhere secluded and special, epitomising the Cornish past, then the small Towednack church at the end of a private lane a short distance outside St Ives really does fir the bill. You are at the mercy of the elements here and if it's windy, you will be the first to know about it, but if it's sunny (as it normally is in Cornwall!!) then you couldn't find many more unique picturesque backdrops for your special day. Booking one of the restaurants or hotels in St Ives, Penzance or somewhere like Cape Cornwall makes sense as they are all within reasonable driving distance. When Lucy and Mark were married here they arranged a coach to transport some of their guests – a great idea as parking has some limitations at Trewednack and, if wet, can be a bit more difficult to negotiate.
